Tempus-Rex is divided into two components; the T-Rex mobile time and activity tracking application which resides on your BlackBerry, and the Tempus-Rex CLIENT Portal which you can access at www.tempus-rex.com.
Tag & Send
- Tag & Send will let you work with all existing calls in your phone log.
- Work with any eMail on your BlackBerry Smartphone.
- Work with calendar entries no matter how long ago the appointment. As long as the event is still in your BlackBerry calendar you can capture the time with the Tag & Send function of T-Rex.
- Jot-it-Down is like a ‘sticky pad’ note.
- Whenever you have completed a task and want to capture it click on the T-Rex icon.
- Accept preloaded date or type over it.
- Enter the hours you want to assign to this activity.
- Assign the call to a Project.
- To make it easy for you T-Rex will use the BlackBerry ‘Auto Text’ function.
- Enter a description. Typically something short that you can use for billing or in a status report.
- The Remind-Me function is powerful. It is invoked each time a phone call or eMail message is sent or received.
- Remind Me prompts you to see if you want to track all incoming or outgoing phone calls or eMails.
- Some casual users chose not to use Remind-Me for all e-mails they read.
- Power users will find Remind-Me for read eMails an indispensible tool to ensure every possible BlackBerry event is tracked and captured for billing credibility.
- To turn ON the Remind-Me when reading eMails go to the T-Rex CONFIGRUATION panel.
The Tempus-Rex Customer Portal allows you to;
- See the value of the time you have captured based on your average bill rate.
- View your captured data based on your criteria i.e.; today, last month, last week, etc.
- Retrieve your captured data for input into timesheet or billing applications.
- The customer portal is a secure cloud computing based data management and archival site.
- Change your personal account settings.
The Tempus-Rex Managing ID
- See the value of the time you have captured based on your average bill rate.
- Provides immediate visibility to all data captured by firm’s Tempus-Rex users.
- Allows for the management, sorting and download of all a firm’s data via the Tempus-Rex Customer Portal.
